Join the Facebook groups to follow daily publications, archival content, and in-depth discussions related to classical music history.
Classical Archive is supported by a wide network of 22 specialized Facebook groups, each focused on a specific area of the classical music world. Together, they form an active international community dedicated to composers, conductors, opera singers, and instrumental soloists.
These groups provide:
- Daily archival publications
- Audio files and documentary material
- Historical context and analytical commentary
- Informed discussion among members with shared interests
- Continuous exploration of repertory across periods and traditions
Areas covered by the Facebook groups include:
- Major composers, from the Baroque period to the twentieth century
- Orchestra conductors, both historical and modern
- Opera composers and opera singers
- Instrumental soloists (piano, violin, cello, and other instruments)
- Symphonic and chamber repertory
- National schools and stylistic traditions
Affiliation to these Facebook groups is free and open, and it represents the most dynamic and interactive way to engage with the Classical Archive project on a daily basis.
Membership allows participants to follow the ongoing expansion of the archive, discover new material regularly, and take part in a shared effort to preserve and understand classical music heritage.
